God is on the move and so is Mosaico.

During the last few months Mosaico Comunidad Cristiana has been living what is said in James 1:27b. “…to look after orphans and widows in their distress…” (NIV) We have begun partnering with a ministry called “Un Ser Valioso” which is a food truck that serves exclusively the elderly in a needy community of Cholula. On the first Saturday of every month Mosaico serves the abuelitos (grandparents), as they call them. We prepare the food and serve them “food truck” style. They only have to pay 7 pesos for the 3-course meal. That’s about 33 cents (US). After the meal we share with them a message of God’s love and play a game or other activity with them. Of course there are lots of hugs also.

Celebrating 3 Kings day (January 7) several from Mosaico went to Esperanza Viva, a Christian orphanage in Puebla. Some families from church and other friends sent presents for the kids. We had a carnival with games, prizes, grilled hamburgers. And each child received presents to open. It was a blessing for everyone involved.

“God is on the move…” and so is Mosaico! We are moving just two blocks away into a space that will allow for a lot of growth. Its been amazing how God is unifying us through this process and transition. Many are helping paint, clean, and lots more. On Sunday February 12 we will celebrate our 5th anniversary and have our first worship service in the new place. Pray with us and for us as we take this huge step and as we focus in 2017 on “Crecer” (Grow).
